- Grade/Band: Intermediate-Level Analyst
2. Purpose of the Role #
The Threat Response Analyst (Level 2) is responsible for monitoring, responding to, and managing security events and incidents within a 24/7 SOC environment. The role involves performing advanced analysis of security incidents, acting as an escalation point for Level 1 Analysts, and ensuring timely mitigation of threats. The Level 2 Analyst is also instrumental in supporting the SOC’s continuous improvement through threat research and enhancement of detection techniques.
