2. Purpose of the Role #
The Content Engineer is responsible for maintaining and developing security content, which includes updating use cases, alerts, and technology rules. This role focuses on enhancing the SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) capabilities by validating and authenticating new data content and tuning parsers. The Content Engineer collaborates with SOC analysts to ensure that security content remains relevant and efficient.
